Jesus... said, "... How dare you turn my Father's house into a market." John 2: 16
Which sacred things in ourselves and our lives have we turned into "a market"?
Our minds? - Used only for logic, reason and the exchange of ideas?
Our hearts? - Given away too easily for whatever we can get for them?
Our bodies? - Used purely as tools for art, sex or sport?
Our friends? - Exchanged and forgotten too quickly when things get tough?
Our planet? - Stripped for resources and beaten into compliance?
These things all come from God and belong to God and we have been made stewards of them.
What does it mean to treat these things as God's temple?
