Today I am angry with God.
In theory, I have no right to be angry. How dare I feel anything other than gratitude and humility when I think upon the living God? Why does God owe me anything?
These things are all valid.
But still I am angry, or perhaps frustrated.
What should I do with this feeling? Should I suppress or repress it because I oughtn't to feel it? Should I deny it and pretend it doesn't exist? Should I replace it with some other feeling and hope it goes away?
No, I shall rely upon the fact that God is bigger than my anger and can cope very well with it. In fact, God can cope better with it than I, or other people, can.
I shall trust that God knows about it already anyway, knows me and why I feel it better than I do, and has more than enough grace for me despite my anger.
Perhaps God is actually relieved that I am finally admitting it.
Perhaps this is the beginning of something new....
